All welfare programs should be run on the same bases as unemployment.... You work enough quarters you qualify for a limited amount of weeks on food stamps or welfare. If it's good enough for unemployment's good enough for food stamps and welfare. Career welfare and food stamps is the problem...... The same as unemployment it is meant for a temporary help.....not a ongoing lifestyle. No more career "family business" of welfare. America's economy has now been based on a very large number of people having money to spend they didn't earn just to keep spending going. america's economy is a false economy.
