Goldberg makes some good points here, although I've often thought that, as conservatives, we make the wrong arguments against gay marriage. The RIGHT argument against it starts with the solid fact that there is no such thing as a subjective, immutable, legally valid state of being "homosexual." Basing a legal contract on such a doubtful foundation makes as much sense as issuing unicorn hunting licenses.
