to win a war, you have to make the enemy so miserable that they will do anything to stop fighting. any time the us gets into a war, our pampered population is certain to get miserable enough to want peace at any price on about the second day of the war. this is why the us should not ever get into a war. we are guaranteed to lose by our soft pampered spineless population. congress is full of jackasses that will vote for a war, then oppose it at the first setback. there were very few in congress that opposed mr bush's foolish adventure. there were many who opposed winning it.
