The article was written by a former senior WH policy advisor to Clinton. You may not like the source, but the fact remains that there were voices who refuted the intel that mistakenly led W to believe that Saddam had WMD. He just chose to ignore anyone whose views countered what he wanted to hear.
He led us into a war with a nation that wasn't an imminent threat, set us up for never-ending war and nation-building, grew the size of govt faster than any liberal ever did, built a massive debt, and grew the entitlement state. Yet he claimed to love "small" government - a bald-faced lie. Go ahead and defend him if you want, but there's no denying he was an unmitigated disaster for the nation and your party.
