AWL Kiddin' Aside
We used to hunt Hogs on a hunting lease I belonged to, back in the '80's.
We used Ruger Blackhawk .44 mag's and never used dogs. I was after a Trophy Hog, but never got him. My hunting buddies got some beauties, though. 450+ lbs.
There are actually intricate Hog Highways under the brush. About 3 ft high & wide with well worn floors. There are intersections. forks and crossroads. No Fooling. The Hogs know you are there and they stay just out of sight, snapping their tucks and taunting you.
I was always afraid I would come face to face with a Rattler or Moccasin . The place is lousy with those, too. The brush is so thick and tough, you couldn't stand up ( or turn around, if you had to. Another of my many concerns
