The government should not have the right to tell any legally consenting adult what he or she puts into his or her body, whether it be alcohol, cocaine, a greater than 16 oz beverage, or fried chicken. A person owns their body, and should be allowed to do with it what they want, as long as the action does not harm others' property. If a person commits a crime while in pursuit or while on drugs, throw the book at them. But just as we do not ban alcohol for crimes related to alcohol use, we should not blame illicit drugs. (CONT)
