Amazing that the "settled science" doesn't look at the archeological records closely. Somewhere in the period of 5500-7500 years BP (Before Present) there was a thousand year period where it was much much hotter and drier than today. We know this due to the lack of fossils, stone tools, arrowheads-spearheads, and artifacts on the high plains of Colorado and the Midwest during that time. When all the prey animals migrate elsewhere the hunter gatherers do too.
