I said in my first post that I believe gay couples should have all of the same rights as a straight couple. Go read it. Just scroll up a few inches. It's right there. I think a gay couple should be able to qualify for the family plan at the gym, they should be able to collect Social Security, they should have medical power of attorney. Those I agree with.
Heterosexuals do NOT, however, have the right to marry someone of the same sex. Why should homosexuals? Your argument will be "Why would a straight person want to marry someone of the same sex?" and you're right, they wouldn't. But they still don't have the right and THAT is the point.
