Good point. It is absurd and idiotic to base public policy on marijuana if Churchill had smoked pot or do I want a stoned pilot. Firs of all, it isn't that hard for anyone to get marijuana, pilot or not. Second there are already prohibitions on drug and alcohol use by pilots. It doesn't matter if the drug is legal or not, but just if the usage would harm your ability to fly an airplane. That is why with legalization there will continue to be prohibitions on smoking marijuana by pilots. Prager does not seem to understand that, but one thing I have learned over the years of listening and reading him, is that he really doesn't seem to understand much.
