Apple outsources most production overseas. He didn't so much create something as market something really well. His company's products aren't really better than all others, but he brilliantly managed to convince people they are.
Buffett is the other side of the coin. He recognizes the potential value in companies and risks some of his money that those companies will produce that value. There's nothing wrong with that. His investment makes the companies more able to produce, so I don't think he creates "nothing."
