My family lives in California while I serve in the military overseas. I get to hear about the high gas prices, the crime, the cost of everything that is higher than everywhere else. As soon as I get home, I'm certain I will be leaving California for somewhere else, somewhere else cheaper. What the knuckleheads in Sacremento don't understand is that the gas tax gets paid by the common person four and five times through higher food costs, higher transportation costs, and higher costs of living all around. Pretty soon, only politicians in Sacremento, celebrities in Malibu and Beverly Hills, and the LA Lakers will be able to afford to live in that beautiful state.
