This is another example of how any information from our government is jumbled and miss -leading. The reported cost savings is $18,000 per week by shutting down the tours, but this article states $75,000 for just SS costs. I don't think anyone in Washington DC has any idea what the tax payers are funding and further more could care less. Any attempt to audit any agency’s books always fails for lack of good standard accounting procedures. The good times roll on in DC. Where the term recession, is never heard.
