Carol, If the town supplies the guns and the training, for those who do not want to provide their own? I.e., a well regulated militia, per Switzerland, or 2nd Amendment? If a town mandated that (allowing for conscientious objectors & disability), would that be too much burden to impose on the citizenry to withstand constitutional scrutiny? If so, what does a constitutionally valid "well regulated militia" envisioned within that same document look like?
