Great article and in particular, pointing out that the real legal basis for a Jewish homeland occurred in 1922 (actually 1920 at the San Remo Conference) when the League of Nations ratified a Jewish homeland that was "reconstituted" in that part of the world, based on historical ties. This fact should be the starting point on any talks about Israel yet remains conspicuously absent from so many writers, including Jewish and Israeli writers. So Bravo for bringing this up Mr. Medved and the other excellent points as well.
