Everybody wants to "help" the poor. Let them help themselves. Quit GIVING them stuff, and make them earn it. Give benefits only to US citizens, and make citizenship only for those who ave something to contribute to the country.We can no longer afford altruism, unfortunately. Any liberal thinks this is unfair, they can adopt a poor peasant family from somewhere and support them themselves. Make the government cut down on ITS entitlements-not the poorest and most helpless of us. Let THEM feel the bite.
