we have given up on eating out too. We are on a fixed income and every restaurant bill for two, even eating the less expensive items, is always over $25.. We are now eating (really drinking) two green smoothies a day, containing nothing but two or three fresh greens, various fruits and eating a modest lunch of freshly-made veggie soups etc. We have lost a pound a day for two weeks and feel better than ever. Here in our city, several restaurants have gone belly up and more are soon to follow. The fast food joints still do well selling their fat-laden foods sure to kill people sooner rather than later.
