Conservatives better begin to decide on a short term and a long term plan in order to survive. Time to prioritize.
You know, I'm thinking of the same problem that plagues Christian churches (as an example). Those churches which exclude people who have not adopted all the tenets of the particular denomination - won't invite them to worship, won't welcome them to join bible studies, etc - will never survive. I'm not suggesting that my church (Missouri Synod Lutheran! - pretty conservative) adopt different theology. It doesn't. However, we open our doors for all who seek God. And, many guests DO decide to "live here". We are stronger for it.
You want to survive? Don't turn away those who have conservative beliefs - no one is pure.
