Have you catalogued the genocide of the Native Americans by Presidential party? Or do you only remember it (and label it as such) when Democrats engaged in it. How do you interpret the situation in 1940 when FDR was opposing American isolationists to support Britain in its desperate fight against the Nazis? Is that a betrayal of allies? (Or, on the other side, when Nixon went to China, was that a betrayal of the Republic of China? Was Ike's non-intervention in Hungary in 1956 a betrayal of our anti-communist allies?) It would help, I think, if you'd look more broadly through history that is apparent from your post or Hawkins's article.
