I agree to a large extent with what William100 writes, namely that the only way our civil society will survive is by a breakup of the States. However, for individual States to declare secession would be very dangerous. Rather, an incremental approach is wisest, and is less likely to provoke a violent response from the Federal Government. It then falls upon each individual State to protect our rights. We demand that our individual liberties, guaranteed under the United States Constitution, must be protected, and that it is the right of every citizen in our Country. Such guarantees, if not honored by the Federal Government, must then fall to the States to protect those rights.
Therefore secession must be the very last thing declared.
