They were asked for some examples to back up their assertion, and they gave a very vague answer, and nothing more specific than "dixiecrats." They could have provided specific examples from both before and after the civil war (see: http://www.firearmsandliberty.com/cramer.racism.html) and didn't give a one. Instead Star Parker shifted to another speaker, and he very quickly moved to talking about his life on the streets as a kid. He changed the subject. When someone asks you a question, and you quickly change the subject, it makes you look like you're doing so because you can't back up your assertion and give a straight answer.
