No. My anti-Islamic tendencies want to agree. But this is a first amendment situation. It also closely mimics calls for gun bans. See the similarity? Once the criminal element becomes aware of a ban on unrevealing clothing, what difference would it make? Would they comply so their identities could be made? Are criminals up to a sly way of denigrating Islam while doing their dirty deeds? If so, so what? We should not allow criminals to feed our dislike for Islam. There are plenty of other very good reasons if you think like me. Clothing isn't one of them. Beware! You are setting your own trap for gun bans.
