Slavery is in no way isolated to blacks. Jews were enslaved in Egypt. Serfdom was the standard way of life in the middle and dark ages in England and elsewhere. My native American ancestors banned together in tribes to protect themselves from other marauding tribes. My ancestry would seem to be one of the most admired in the world until you examine each carefully. I am from Mennonite, Choctaw, and original Pilgrim lineage. If I behaved as many of my noted ancestors did, I would be requiring all women to cover their heads, dunking gossiping women in a pond, burning suspected witches at the stake, and invading tribal villages, killing the men, and forcing the women into marital bonds. I put aside those things and embrace Christianity.
