Suborning perjury is very serious. Obstruction of Justice is very serious. If a president shop-lifted a cany bar: not serious. If he tries to cover it up, that is an impeachable offense. Those who say he was "impeached for essentially nothing" lack the understanding of 1) ethics, 2) morals, and 3) the rule of law as an environment, to put forward a meaningful opinion. Attributing his impeachment to the attitude of Republicans is asinine wishful thinking, further evidence of a lack of sufficient wisdom to meaningfully participate in the conversation — free to speak, unable to make sense.
