If a liberal's lips are moving, even if it's a police officer or military person, he's probably lying or saying something stupid. Chief Johnson felt the need to be protective and if that meant saying something totally stupid, he's up for it. Chief, it's not the gun, it's the criminal. Do your job and get the criminals off the streets and the gun violence, of any type, won't happen. Before you blame an inanimate object, you might evaluate your department and your community for problems.
