I was stationed in Germany in the late 60s and they were touting full employment. One day I was coming off the Post and I saw why, there were workers working on the road. They were turning over the cobble stones. They were not replacing the cobble stones they were turning over the ones that had been there for years. They are not that smart. It was a standard joke that it took three Germans to change a light bulb, one to carry the ladder, one to take out the old bulb and one to screw in the new one. I actually saw this happen while on vacation at a resort.
