first it was japan. then korea and taiwan stepped in. alongside of these 3 was hong kong. then hong kong was given by the british over to red china, and now china is the country of choice for inexpensive production. japan has been waylaid in the process, but korea has the mighty samsung and LG, etc. thailand and singapore, even vietnam are running factories now too. india is starting to emerge as a manufacturer. but not one country in africa has any factories originating there, nor have been able to attract foreign companies. because you know why? they say repubs are racist, but no liberal activist would EVER buy a car made in uganda.
