You and I probably don't agree on much of anything political, but I'm with you on this one. I consider the nihilistic genre of rap (which seems to be most of it) the single greatest threat to kids today. TV, movies, and video games are certainly worthy of criticism, but rap is uniquely harmful, I believe, because the crunching beat, and the fact that kids can experience it around the clock, makes it almost a super-negative form of hypnotism. I see a lot of kids, including my own son, who have adopted a "nothing matters" attitude, and I think this wretched excuse for music is the single greatest cause of that. And there's really no way to separate them from it. I truly hate it.
