An "Assault Weapon", is simply a weapon made to be used during an attack, either offensively, or DEFENSIVELY ! To deny such weapons to individuals, to free citizens, to civilians, is NOTHING less than a very, very broad mark of a government leaning toward a totalitarian dictatorship. The "Conciousness Raising" I hear whines for gun control called, is rather a flight, a RETREAT into the Sub-concious, and a grope for a parents hand to hold while demanding, "Daddy, make the bad thing go away"! Gun-grabbers ! You are demanding Everyone give up Their freedom to make you Feel safe. What will keep you safe from the government the Next time it decides to take something away," For your own good"?
