If you had a perfectly healthy baby who died in a car accident six months after being born, would you be similarly "undecided" as to whether you would have aborted her or not? Fact of the matter is that no one knows what life holds in store for them. The possibility of death, no matter how near or far it may be, does not justify intentionally murdering someone, even if the intention is to "spare" them or one's self from suffering.
"Everyone" is involved in this issue because abortion is an assault on the inalienable right to life, and undermines the concept that "all men are created equal." The only reason that you would feel "disturbed," about people expressing their opinions on these fundamental issues, is that you are wrong and know it.
