In the end, The catholic church is not based on what men want or need. The survival of the church does not depend on its evolution to meet the requirements of this generations progressive movement. The acceptance of flawed men into the priesthood and the lack of a standard operating practice, applicable to all Bishops has contributed to the issue of molestation within the church. As Catholics, we must hold our spiritual leaders to a standard much higher then the average man on the street and that must be unequivacle. The church has survived all manner of politics, we will survive progressive liberal yammers as well.
