As a libertarian, I don't really care how a bunch of black-robed bandits sitting on the Supreme Court choose to "interpret" the Second Amendment.
But I would be remiss if I didn't point out that the Second is much more restrictive of government power than the First. The second says, "shall not be infringed." In other words, NO level of government--federal, state, or local--may infringe the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
The First Amendment, on the other hand, specifically puts limits only on CONGRESS--but not state and local governments. (Tortured "interpretation" of the 14th Amendment notwithstanding.)
