Your post shows your total ignorance of what Catholics believe or what the Catholic Church teaches. If you're going to make comments on a topic, be sure you what you are talking about. The Pope is NOT the elected PRESIDENT of the Catholic Church. AND no one in the Church claims that the Pope is the "most holy man on earth". The pope is a human being like the rest of us. However, in his capacity as the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church, he and he alone can make dogmatic pronouncements ("ex cathedra"). These dogmatic pronouncements are confined to only FAITH and MORALS (as defined in the Church). He cannot declare, for example, that building a house out of straw is sinful, or that America was discovered by Leif Erickson, etc.
