Eliminate the deficit and you are taking $1 trillion out of the economy. Lots of people will lose jobs and GDP will shrink. Eventually the private sector will grow out of the problem, but who knows how long that would take?
The republicans need to address the growth side of the equation with facts rather than theory. I want to know what they would cut, how fast the private sector can cover the loss and what they would do with those who will be without jobs in the interim.
Unless they can do that, the leftists will continue to borrow us to oblivion!
