Brewer and Scott Walker are already straying from their conservative principles, I'm very sad to say. Both have agreed to create state government insurance exchanges, rather than refusing them as Perry did here in Texas. Walker also has increased the gas tax by 5 cents and instituted a mileage tax to pay for infrastructure in Wisconsin. Contrast that with VA governor McDonnell's proposal to do away with that state's 17 cent gas tax and replace it by increasing sales tax from 5 to 5.8 cents. I was a big fan of both Brewer and Walker, but they're falling prey to bad liberal policies.
