Really enjoy his random thoughts. Disagree on a few. The American in Hitler's Army is not hypothetical. He has to read the Quirin case. Whether or not Hagel's service wounds should be considered, the prof. logic regarding Benedict Arnold is faulty, as I'm sure he knows. It is like saying, George Bush's service should not be considered, after all, Hitler served too. Judges should have different perspectives than police officers - that is a major premise of the 4th amendment. He would be greatful for it if the gov't decided to go after him. However, I think he also focuses on extreme examples and imagines them the majority. Judges are generally respectful of police viewpoints.
