What I would like to know is why a gay person can't be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.
We seem to have lost sight of the point of scouts. Namely, the kids. Why are we so opposed to gay, kids getting to learn the same things that straight kids to? Scouts taught me a lot of things. One of them, perhaps the most important, was that prejudice is a blight on the heart and in society. We should work very hard to excise it from both.
