I am well aware of that. Let me rephrase. I would not object to always rendering "anthropois" as "people" rather than "men", if I thought people no longer knew that "men" means "anthropois" rather than solely "andrasi" (which I think is the dative plural of "aner", the Greek word for "male person"). But I think that most people still know that "men" can mean both "anthropois" AND "andrasi".
