Perhaps the gay 'marriage' defenders can finally answer the questions raised about its legitimacy: How is it possible for two men or two women to become the one flesh reality that defines marriage? Whether a given couple has children or not, it's still the same formula: one man + one woman = one unit, even as they are individuals (my husband is not me, nor am I him-yet we are one flesh and would be so even if we'd never had children). Two people being of like mind and deep affection do not a marriage make. Otherwise one could claim 'marriage' between two who are simply very close friends.
