I laugh at how complex cars have become in 40 years. Then web site info brags about mpg, 35mpg for example. Why in 1975 my dad bought a Chevy Vega that took our family from the midwest to Portland Oregon and made 35mpg the whole way with 4 aboard and luggage in the trunk. That was during the original price hikes and "I drive 55" bumper stickers when gas skyrocketed from 45 cents per gallon to 75 cents per gallon.
