I quite agree.. the republican and democratic parties have become somewhat indistinguishable by me.. Nominally the Republicans like to talk about smaller government.. but its just so much hot air. Both parties are reading their polls.. and the polls say that the electorate wants big-time entitlement programs, regardless of how they answer the 'do you want limited government' question. The smaller truly limited government supporting base will never get what it wants.. since the majority are calling the real shots.. so the RINOs lie to get as many votes as possible from that crowd.. and that crowd gets more and more disillusioned. Its the sad reality of present day politics.
