It's perfectly possible for a gay man to marry a woman, have a family, etc. It has happened before and continues to happen. But so long as that man is still attracted to members of the same sex, then he is still a gay man. Same applies for a gay woman. They can go through the motions if they want, but if their attractions don't change then they're still homosexuals by definition. It's fine if a Christian shows compassion to homosexuals, but it's not compassion to want them to live a certain life that they don't find reprehensible. Because then it's not about them anymore. It's about placating the Christians and what they think society should look like.
