It's fine to challenge the party to adhere to its principles and core beliefs, but not to such a level as to undercut its ability to win elections. You can rest assured that the Democrats will not be engaged in the kind of intra-party conflicts that the GOP has been consumed by in recent years. Democrats have found a way to unite their diverse factions into a motivated, cohesive and organized voting block that will turn out to support their candidates. The result is a Democratic-controlled Senate since 2007, wins in 4 of the last 6 Presidential elections (and 5 popular vote wins). These people must be opposed by the only group capable of defeating them - a united GOP. No more infighting, and no more Akins, Murdochs or O'Donnels!
