Back in the 1970s I heard advocacy for "National Land-use Planning", whatever that meant. Today, in the EPA regulations, we see National Land-use Planning being implemented, and the plan is natural environmental preservation. I've got to suppose that the plan= the world really would be better without us. Re. Sage Grouse: ex-Int. Secy. James Watt lives in Jackson Hole. He tells of desiring to see Sage Grouse in mating display, but the field trips he signed up for kept getting canceled. He told of flying out of the Jackson Hole airport. As the airplane turned at the end of the runway he looked out the window and saw Sage Grouse in mating display. Conclusion: the field trip organizers had been hosing him.
