Freedom is never free and guys like Chris Kyle know that well. Their willingness to leave their families for long periods of time and endure unimaginable privations to do the job most of the anti-war groups wouldn't have the guts to do make these guys some of the most revered of our heroes. Chris was no wild eyed killer. Though I knew him only from his appearances and his book, it was obvious that he was a loving husband and father who valued family, county and his creator. He understood what was needed and did the job without complaint. Rest in peace, Chris.
