1. They don't care about individual lifestyle choices that involve birth control use, they morally oppose the destruction of innocent life, and the public funding of those "choices" that lead to death.
2. They don't care about how gays choose to live, they oppose the "dumbing down" of marriage especially since evidence is in regarding how deleterious such relationships are to children involved. It's not all about personal choice or rights; it's also about responsible behavior and the public good.
3. As a former teacher you got it wrong. No one requires anyone to pray in public school, but to afford the right of freedom of expression for those who desire this 1st amendment right in public.
