The real problem is that the person you want in office is the person who doesn't want to be there. It is republican tradition to burn their own when they are found to be in the wrong. However, in the democrat party, since there is no wrong, they acept EVERYBODY. Take Barney Frank as an example. His boyfriend was running a male prostitute house out of his appartment in Washington. WHen confronted with it, his resonse was "so what?" A republican would have resigned in shame. In todays information age, it is almost impossible for a person of moral character to run for and achieve office. If democratic, he will be ousted as soon as possible, if Republican, he will resign as soon as he gets a bellyfull. Or as soon as his one sinful side reveals.
