That's not certain Herman, but it certainly is possible. On the other hand, it's also possible that the better schools, in an effort to maintain their status and therefore their income, will either put more effort into bringing the poorer performers up to their standards, or force them out of the school and back to their former school? I would not dismiss Miss Rhee's ideas about a voucher system so quickly. Most of us believe that competition fleshes out the best and worst in us. Why not back the public school system into a corner, when and where it is deserved. They just might force themselves to improve. Lord knows they have ample room for improvement.
