After Desert Storm one of our (Demo) Congressmen said that the war as was fought "wasn't fair". We had a few hundred people killed; they had several hundred thousand killed. He insisted that we should not fight unless we had as many casualties as they did and we should use the same equipment as they did and not our better stuff. I suppose that he wanted our military to count up how many enemy casualties we inflicted each day and then choose every tenth person on our own side to shoot to make up the difference.
