Perhaps the terminology for the "far right" should be changed to "right so far." Principled people are best only to the degree that their principles are those which work in the real world and produce the best results. Large national governments are inefficient at best and tyrannical at worst. I agree with the Founding Fathers and see a need for enough Federal power to deal effectively with other nations and unjust insurrections but leave the bulk of the power reserved for the states and for the people respectively. Those closest to the problem are in the best position to solve the problem: individual -> family -> extended family ->church/community -> city -> county -> intra-state region -> state -> multi-state -> national -> multi-national.
