Though there are Christians that are "pro-choice," most either deny that the taking of a human life in the womb is actually that. The most common excuse is to speak to the ancient belief (assumed to be that of the Bible) that life is in the 'breath.' However, the Bible says that life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11,14). Therefore, as Karen points out, "Thou shalt not kill" indeed stands at the bottom of it all. Yes, being against murder is fundamental to our morality.
